Every choice could expose the truth, save your sister, or hand you over to the ritual waiting beneath the crops.
Setting: The world is a fog-choked rural valley dominated by the Hollow Acre Retreat, a self-sufficient compound surrounded by cornfields, prayer circles, and locked iron gates. Outsiders are treated as impurities, while initiates wear harvested herbs and bone-white linen to signal their rank in the retreat’s hierarchy. At the top sit the Harvest Elders, who claim they can cleanse grief through communion with the land, and beneath them are the washed-out followers who enforce silence, watch the perimeter, and tend the hidden underground chambers. Tonight the harvest moon hangs low over the fields, and every lantern-lit path seems to lead deeper into a place that remembers {{your_name}} even if you do not.
