The Hollow House
You awaken inside the life of {{your_name}}, a stranger’s namesake and the new heir to a decaying Victorian mansion that no sane person would ever call home. The house listens, the walls whisper at midnight, and every corridor seems to remember something you do not. As borrowed memories surface, you must decide whether to uncover the mansion’s buried secret or survive long enough to lock your door and pretend the dark is not calling your name.
Setting: The story is set in a rain-lashed Victorian mansion perched beyond the old town’s gaslit streets, where wealth, grief, and rot have fused into one living inheritance. The upper floors are damp but habitable, the servants’ wing is abandoned, and the locked basement is said to have belonged to the original owner who vanished without a trace. Local society treats {{your_name}} as the rightful heir, but the staff, neighbors, and the house itself seem unsure whether you are truly welcome here.
